Groshinski, Mrs. McCalman v. Mrs. Connell, Miss Whillans v. Miss Sims. Men’s Section.—The patron v. president teams’ match was won by the president's team, 6 matches to three. Results, with the president's team mentioned first in each instance, were: C. C. Baldwin beat J. V. Blyth, O. B. Hawken beat L. Connell, R. Glasgow lost to S. Holmes, J. S. Grant lost to B. Holmes, W. Strachan beat J. Paki, P. Woon beat C. Honeyman, G. Hartley beat J. Morgan, B. Paki beat T. Grey, L. A. Wilson lost to M. G. Wilson. The course record was equalled by M. G. Wilson with 70 off the stick. With a par of two rounds of 4,4, 3, 5,5, 4,3, 4, 4, —36, his rounds were 4,4, 3,4, 5,4, 3. 5, 3—35 and 4,3, 3, 5, 5. 4,3, 3, 5—35. This week-end the August medal match will be played, the best 16 net scores to qualify for the Fred Smith Cup. Players will be paired at the clubhouse. Third round players of the D.C.L. Cup are reminded that the third round must be completed this week-end. CASTLECLIFF CLUB No competitions will be held at the Castlecliff Golf Club during the weekend, members paying this tribute to the memory of their late secretary, Mr. F. W. Wagstaff.
