REGENT THEATRE
“BULLDOG SEES IT THROUGH. “Bulldog" Watson is one of those persistent blokes, his nickname shows that. He stumbles across clues to sabotage attempts and follows them up. The authorities are not impressed. They even suggest that he is not quite righi in the head. What follows is a skilful blend of comedy and melodrama and with Jack Buchanan as “Bulldog" Watson one can rely upon a full measure ol entertainment in “Bulldog Sees It Through,” which is showing at the Regent Theatre today. Beginning with a murder in the home of a friend, Jack's pursuit of the Fifth Column leads him to a lively scrap in a Soho dance hall, a neai drowning in a Thames warehouse, and a dash from hospital to pilot a superfast fighter on a mission over London that would be unfair to an excellent picture to disclose here. The supporting feature is "Ridin’ on a Rainbow,” in which Gene Autry is starred.
