WAIKATO DAIRYING FARMERS’ SURPLUSES. DISTRIBUTION THIS MONTH. Hamilton, July 22. The total surpluses, for distribution to suppliers, in the profit and loss accounts lor the 1940-41 season of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, amount to £1,422,243, this including the amounts due to suppliers to the company's butter, cheese, milk powder and evaporated milk factories, stated Mr. C. J. Parlane, general manager of the company, to-day. Mr. Parlane said the deferred payment to be made to shareholding suppliers to the butter department was 2.6004 d, which would make a total average payment to butter suppliers of 16,3016 d or, including cartage, 16,6425 d per lb. of butter-fat. The payments to be made to suppliers to the company's 24 cheese factories would vary according to local conditions, tne average over all factories, excluding town milk sales, being 18,2453 d per lb. of butter-fat. The average payment to be made to suppliers to the company’s evaporated milk factory at Matangi would be 19,3556 d per lb. of butter-fat, excluding share credit. The suppliers to the three milk powder, factories would be | advised within the next few days of the surpluses available in their respective groups. Surpluses duo to butter, cheese and evaporated milk suppliers would be raid in full at the end of this month,’
