FRANCO’S VIEW OF THE WAR
WARNING TO AMERICA KEEP OUT OF EUROPE’S FIGHT AGAINST BOLSHEVISM" (Recd. 5.5 p.m.) Madrid, July 17. A warning to the United States not to interfere in the European struggle against Bolshevism was given by General Franco in a speech to the Falangist Council on the anniversary of the civil war. He added that war between Europe and America would be catastrophic for America. The German attack against Russia has no decisive influence upon the fact that the Allies would be unable to win. The Allies professed to a policy of liberating invaded nations, which was farcical. Spain was remaining independent, relying on the army of the Flangist Party.—U.P.A.
