j CHAIRMAN RE-ELECTED i itR. K. W. DALRYMPLE PRAISED On the motion of Cr. A. S. Coleman, seconded by Cr. W. Doole, Cr. IK. W. Dalrymple (Bulls? was uani’mousiy re-elected chairman at the aninual meeting yesterday of the Rangitikei County Council. Cr. Dalrymple, who represents th/ ißangitoto Riding, was lir-t elected to Ithe council in 1911, and has been jchairman since 1929. has tilled the position exceedingly well, ana for that ■ reason i have much pleasure in again I nominating him, ' said Cr. Coleman, • who added that the office of chan man ’was one which took up a great deal of time. Cr. Dalrymple, however, had 'given much time and attention to the .county’s affairs. Thanking councillors, Cr. Dalrymple I said he sometimes wondered whether The council tackled and looked after • every problem in trie way it should be .dealt with. He hoped, however, that the mistakes had been few. If lie made mistakes no would rather councillors jiold him. They were all there to do it heir best in the interests of the rateI payers.
i Cr. Coleman commented also on ilhe harmony which exited at the (council meetings. Memoers sometimes had differences of opinion, but always left the Council Chamber with the {good feeling toward one another • which was so desirable.
