N.Z. FARMERS’ UNION
WANGANUI PROVINCIAL EXECUTIVE MR. T. CURRIE RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT Appreciation of the work done by Mr. T. Currie (Brunswick) in the interests of farmers was expressed by several speakers when Mr. 1. Currie was re-eiected president of the Wanganui Provincial Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union at the annual meeting yesterday.
Speakers emphasised that he had given the union his wholehearted support and had devoted much time and energy to problems affecting the farming community, particularly in wart inie.
After his election, Mr. Currie said the office of president was not alto gether an easy job, but he would endeavour to carry on to the best of his ability during tne coming year. Mi’.
