SCHOOL SWIMMING
WANGANUI TECHNICAL COLLEGE SPORTS RESULTS OF FIRST DAY’S EVENTS The Wanganui Technical College annual swimming sports were begun al the- Gonville Baths yesterday afternoon under ideal weather conditions and will be concluded to-morrow afternoon. The organiser was Mr. M. Kinder, and the referee, Mr. L. J. B. Chapple. A good performance was put up by G. Bali (Braik House) in the 220yds. intermediate championship, his time being 2min. 59 l-ssec., a record lor the school. The previous time was 3mins. 27secs. House points so far are: Alexander, 2321; Pirani, 230; Braik, 2281; Rees. 211. Results of boys' championship events were (B, Braik House, R, Rees House, A, Alexander House, P. Pirani House).
