NINE MONTHS’ GAOL

ATTEMPT TO SET FIRE TO 8.8. C. BUILDING CASE MOKE MENTAL THAN OTHERWISE LONDON, Feb. 25. George Edward Young, who was charged with attempting to set hie to the 8.8. C. building in Bristol, was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment. Counsel for the defence, producing a medical report, said that Young had apparently lost his sense of moral values and developed a dream personality which he felt he must follow. The Judge expressed the view that the case was more medical than criminal, but it was necessary to keep Young under observation.
