OHAKEA The many friends of Mr. J. Ellery j will regret to learn that he had been [ confined to bed for some days. His j condition, however, did not improve | .and he has been admitted to hospital and undergone an operation, his condition being serious. Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Rook returned yesterday from a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. A. A. Carey is visiting Wellington. Miss Alison Mamel is an inmate of the Patea Hospital. Miss Mona Irving is spending a few days in Patea. MANGAWEKA Miss Loye is spending a holiday in ! New Plymouth. Mr. G. I. Anderson, Dannevirke, is visiting his son. Mr. E. G. Anderson, schoolmaster, Mangaweka. Miss Tui Crawford, Wellington, is! the guest of Mrs. G. Salt.
