RANGITIKEI RACING CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING ON SATURDAY 4 r acceptances due to-night Acceptances for all events at the Rangitikei Racing Club’s autumn meeting, to be held at Bulls on Saturday next, March 1, close to-night at 9 o’clock. Recent rains have softened the track at Bulls, and the course proper is carrying a fine sole of grass at present. Betting will again be on the win-and-place system, and all arrangements are complete for a successful meeting. The first race on Saturday will start at 12-15 p.m.. and the last event at 5.5 p.m., allowing patrons from distant parts to reach home before dark. The Bulls course has a natural terrace facing the straight, allowing all to obtain an uninterrupted view of the racing, and this makes the meeting a very popular one. Mr. Geo. Whillans (Woodville) will conduct the publican’s booths, and Messrs. Dustin’s Ltd. (Palmerston North) will do the catering. The dividend indicator will be installed, and a description of the racing will be broadcast by Mr. D. J. Guiney.
