Miss Jean Berg, New Plymouth, spent the week-end in Wanganui. * * * * Mrs. B. Nicholson. Napier, was a weekend visitor to Wanganui. Mrs. G. Sampson has returned to Wanganui after a short visit to New Plymouth. Miss G. Jones. Taihape, was a recent visitor to Wanganui. Miss I. Cramer-Roberts, Rotorua, is visiting Wanganui. * * » » Mrs. W. Ralph Brown, Gonville, is at present staying at Castlecliff. * * * * Mrs. H. A. Lambert, Wanganui, was a recent visitor to Palmerston North. * * * * Miss Dalziel, Palmerston North, has returned home after spending a holiday in Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. Len Bassett, St. John’s Hill. * * * * Miss Valmai Tyler, Cains Avenue, Gonville. is spending two weeks' holiday in Wellington. Mrs. S. G. Millen, St. John's Hill, leaves this morning on a short visit to Wellington. Mrs. W. L. Young. Hatrick Terrace, has left on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. E. M. Cranstone and Miss Joan Cranstone, "Riverton," Fordell, will leave to-day for Auckland, where they will stay about a week. Mrs. de H. Gilbert, who has been staying with Mrs. H. Strauchon, Gonville, has left for Wellington and Christchurch. Mrs. P. Tinney and Mrs. Boyd, Gonville, are Wanganui visitors to Wellington and are staying at the Grand Hotel. * * * » Mrs. J. H. P. Fossette, Wanganui, flew to Christchurch to visit two of her daughters, Mrs. A. C. Cdddick and Mrs. H. A. McKinney. As a mark of respect to the memory cf the late Mr. B. P. Wansbrough, the Durie Hill Croquet Club, of which he had been a member, closed the lawns for three days. • * » Miss Dagmar Wilson, of Winton. Southland, who came to Wanganui to attend the Wilson —Annabell wedding, is staying with Mrs. R. N. Wilson, Peakes Road, St. John's Hill. * * * ♦ To all country girls!
