REGENT THEATRE
“MILITARY ACADEMY” AND “CONVICTED WOMAN.” With four of Hollywood's finest young juveniles featured-—Tommy Kelly, Bobby Jordan, David Holt and Jackie Searl Columbia's "Military Academy” is now showing at the Regent Theatre. The new film, which has been hailed as one of the most entertaining pictures of its kind ever produced, is a stirringly dramatic story of the ambitions, dreams and conflicts of modern youth. Told against the thrilling background of a military school, the screenplay presents a heatwarming story of three boys, who find in th.e influence and example of those about them the strength to meet and conquer their problems. For those who like action stories with a criminal slant "Convicted Woman” gives intimate glimpses of life in an American house of correction for women, showing the graft and mal-administration condoned by the authorities. The production has a strong story, with a good cast headed by Rochelle Hudson and Freda Inescort.
