The Athens radio says that dissatisfied members of the Fascist Party secretly met in Rome on January 15 and resolved to send Count Dino Grandi, Minister of Justice, to London to sue for
peace in the name of the Italian people. The police have made many arrests and severely punished some of the participants. The announcer added: “The news comes from an unimpeachable source.” Count Grandi is a former Italian Ambassador to Britain. Received Feb. 12. 10 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 11. The Columbia BroadcastingSystem’s correspondent, Mr. Courtney Terretl, hac cabled from Vichy: “British-Italian peace negotiations start on the Riviera on Wednesday. ” LONDON, Feb. 11. Well-informed circles discredit the Terrett story regarding British-Italian peace negotiations.
