SHIPMENT OF MUTTON
CHANGED CONDITIONS WEIGHTS 73L8. AND OVER WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. The Meat Producers’ Board has drawn the attention of farmers to the changed postion regarding the shipment of wethers and ewes weighing 731 b. and over. In compliance with the request of the British Ministry o£ Food, the shipment of ewe mutton weighing over 721 b. is limited to the 1938-39 proportions of these grades to the total mutton carcases shipped, and all freezing companies will be expected to confine shipments to carcases weighing 721 b. and over to these proportions. .
