DAILY INTERCESSION

For we have all been receiving grace after grace from His fulness - . . grace and reality are ours through Jesus Christ (John i, 16-17). O Thou Who are the Father of all men, enable us to pray in love and in sincerity for those who are ranged against us in this conflict. We thank Thee for the treasures of art, of science, and of thought with which men of their lands have enriched the w'orld, and that we can still enjoy these gifts of Thine. Keep us free from all bitterness or revenge; save us from the weakness of mere retaliation. Grant to them deliverance from thraldom that they may take their true place, with us, in Thy world and in the service of Christ.
