BENZOL AND POWER ALCOHOL DECISION IN N.S.W. Received Feb. 7, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 7. The New South Wales Government has decided to introduce legislation to require petrol distributors to mix benzol or power alcohol with petrol to reduce Imports of fuel supplies. It is estimated that the production of benzol and power alcohol in Australia could be raised to 8,000,00(1 gallons a year. The compulsory mixing of benzol and power alcohol with petrol operated successfully in Queensland for ten years.
