A NEW RECIPE
APPLE AND HONEY CRISP Four cups sliced apples, 1 cup honey, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, , cup flour, j teaspoon cinnamon, i teaspoon salt, lib butter. Place sliced apples in a shallow buttered casserole. Pour over the honey and lemon juice and sprinkle with the cinnamon. Sift flour and salt together and cut in the butter as for pie crust. Spread these crumbs over the apples. Bake in a moderate oven (373 deg. F.) about forty mini utes until apples are tender and crust ■is crisply brown. Serve warm with I cream, either plain or whipped.
