Sir,—lt is rather amusing to see in this so-called democratic country how fond people are of using any handle to their names which they may have received either from a grateful country or by their own merits in the way of examinations, etc. I believe there are at present in Parliament about six gentlemen who have held office in one or other of the churches. Sonn use the word "Reverend” and some appear to have discarded it. Take Mr. Nordmeyer for instance. Will he now be addressed as the Honourable and Reverend or as the Reverend and Honourable?—l am, etc.,
