AN EASTER CAMP

NATIONAL RESERVE UNITS WANGANUI, PALMERSTON AND PERHAPS NEW PLYMOUTH An effort is being made to arrange, probably i n the Wanganui district, a camp for units of the National Military Reserve in Wanganui and Palmerston North and possibly Nfew Plymouth. An announcement was made last night to the 11th (Wanganui) Company of the Reserve by Captain D. W. Curham, M.C., who said that the Palmerston North company was agreeable and word was being sent to New Plymouth. More than half those on parade last night in Wanganui were agreeable to attending such a camp, having recollections of the success of the Labour Day week-end spent at the Kaitoke afforestation area, the first National Reserve camp to be established in the Dominion.
