WANGANUI PLAYERS IN CANADA WIN FOR NEW ZEALAND Two Wanganui airmen, now training in Canada, were members of a Rugby team which played in a match between New Zealand and Australian Air Force trainees recently. They were Pine Takarangi (Wanganui) and George Stevens (Rata?, Takarangi was captain of the New Zealand team, and the match was played al Calgary in the presence of a large crowd. After a good game' New Zealand, with one unconverted try and a penalty kick, won by six points to three. Australia secured one unconverted try. Takarangi and Stevens were also members of the Anzac team which met a Canadian team in Montreal. Three games were played, the Anzac side winning the series by two matches to one. ? ... ■
