TAIHAPE Mr. and Mrs. F. Thomas, oi Utiku, have returned from a holiday visit to Foxton. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Boles ana family and Mrs. J. Mortland, who have been spending a holiday at Auckland, returned to Taihape on Tuesday morning. His Grace, Archbishop O'Shea, visited 'laihape on Sunday en route to the Waiouru Military Camp, where he at tended the official opening of the Catholic hut. Monsignor Connolly and Rev. Fathers Doolaghty and Lorrigan were also present. MARTON Mr. and Mrs. lan Jolly and then small son left Marton yesterday to spend a holiday with Mr. Jolly s parents in Cromwell. Mrs. P. J. Burn and her two sons have returned to Miramar, Wellington, after spending a holiday in Marton with Mr. A. Way. Mrs. Burn also visited Taihape during the the weekend, where she and Lieutenant P. J. Burn, who is in camp at Waiouru, were the guests of Mr. and Mm. Frank McSweeney. Mrs. H. F. Jury and son, Bruce, have returned to New Plymouth after spending a holiday with Mr. A. Way, Marton. PATEA Mrs. McFarlane, Wanganui, Mrs. J. Gordon, Wanganui, Mrs. G. Stevenson, New Plymouth, Mrs. F. Elliott, Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Moss, Hawera, Mrs. James, New Plymouth, Mr. H. Dickie, M.P., Hawera, Mrs. Edwards, Nelson, and Mrs. Roberts, Paparaumu, were visitois to Patea on Monday for the Plunket Jubilee. Mrs. Nelson, Waipukurau, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Jenkins, has returned home. Mrs. Thompson and her two daughters Anne and Judith, who have been visiting Patea, have returned to their home in Waipukurau.
