The Stockholm correspondent ot The Times says that Christmas Moeller, who, under German pressure, resigned from the Ministry of Trade last October, has now resigned his seat in the Danish Parliament and also the leadership of the Conservative Party, thus momentarily relaxing the tension between the Germans and the Government. Herr Moeller since October had travelled the conutry, openly making speeches on prevailing conditions, referring to the “enemy within the gates" and attracting thousands of hearers. He had become a national hero. The Germans demanded his removal from Parliament, which the King refused twice. Herr Moeller then withdrew’.
