EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS
DAMAGE IN SMYRNA Received Jan. 12, 11.30 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 11. Intermittent earthquake shocks shook Western Anatolia heavily and damaged Smyrna. Many houses collapsed. The panic-stricken population fled to the fields.
