ACTION OVER BREST

ATTACKED BY R.A.F. Received Jan. 12, 11.30 p.m LONDON, Jan. 11. An Air Ministry communique states that in bright moonlight last night the R.A.F. attacked dockyards in Brest. Two direct hits were made on the bows of a large vessel, and widespread fires resulted in the dock area. Shipping in the harbour at Le Havre was also attacked. No British aircraft are missing.
