IRONWORKERS IN SYDNEY CHALLENGE TO GOVERNMENT Received Jan. 12, 7.30 p.m. SYDNEY. Jan. 12. A mass stop-work meeting on Satur day of 2000 ironworkers and boilermakers decided not to work any further overtime unless such overtime earnings are exempted from Federal income tax and State wages tax. The ban operates from Monday. The chairman of the meeting said the claims could not be granted by any Arbitration Court or by employers of labour. It was a challenge to the Government of the country.
