APPOINTMENT EXTENDED I Per Prees Association. J WELLINGTON. Jan. 10. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, announced to-day that advice had been received from the United Kingdom of the promotion of Group-Captain H. W. L. Saunders, Chief of Air Staff of the R.N.Z.A.F., to Air Commodore. His period of appointment to I he R.N.Z.A.F. has boon extended until the beginning of 1942.
