CARIBBEAN COMMAND
SET UP BY U.S.A. Received Jar.. 10, 5.5 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 9. The Minister for the Army, Mr. H. L. Stimson, announced a new Caribbean defence command to strengthen the defences of the Western Hemisphere. The command will combine present Puerto Rican-Panama Canal Departments and the new Trinidad base under Lieutenant-General Van Voorhis.
