CAUGHT BY BIG WAVE
THREE PERSONS RESCUED FROM SURF
CASTLECLIFF INCIDENT Caught by a big wave when standing on a spit of sand about 30 yards from the shore at Castlecliff, on Thursday, a man, his wife, and child, got into difficulties and had to be assisted by two Castlecliff residents, Messrs. E. Brewer and C. Potty. Messrs. J. P. Tully and T. R. Luff, members of the Castlecliff Surf Section, applied resuscitation. So far this season 19 rescues have been made at the Castlecliff beach.
