••ARGENTINE NIGHTS" AND “PRIVATE DETECTIVE.” The Andrews Sisters in “Argentine Nights,” the current attraction at the Regent Theatre, are revealed as a trio with exceptional comic ability, female counterparts of the Ritz Brothers, with whom they share the leading roles in this film. There are numerous song and dance routines incorporating the unhounding hilarity for which the Ritz Brothers are famous. “Private Detective" is the supporting feature. “Margie” and “They Made Me a Criminal." Presenting an array of comedy favourites in roles designed to bring out the best of their laugh-getting talents, the Universal musical farce. "Margie," commences to-morrow at the Regent Theatre. Mischa Auer, whose mad antics have lifted him to the top ranks of movie comedians, is seen as a wealthy banana king from South America who tries to mix blondes and business. Four other funny men who compete with Auer in comedy scenes in the picture include Edgar Kennedy. Allen Jenkins, Eddie Quillan and Wally Vernon. Nan Grey and Tom Brown share the love interest in the rollicking film, and Joy Hodges sings the title song. “Margie." which has been revived to popularity following its recent release on new phonograph recordings. Comedy songs written especially for the film are "Oh, Fly With Me." and “When Banana Blossoms Bloom in Guatemala." The associate feature is “They Made Me a Criminal.” with the Dead End Kiris.
