AUCKLAND v. WELLINGTON

AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. Last year's Plunket Shield skipper. W. M. Wallace, plus J. Cowie and IL G. Vivian, are not available for the match with Wellington on the Basin Reserve at Christmas. The team is: G. L. Weir (captain), P. E. Whitelaw. W. Burgess, H. T. Pearson, V. J. Scott. O. C. Cleal, J. A. R. Blandford. H. J. H. Harrison, C. S. Burke. D. C. Cleverley, F. M. Andrews. The twelfth man is A. V. Wiles. Auckland Rugby centre. The manager is Mr. Harold Warneford.

V. J. Scott and C. S. Burke are also members of the Auckland touring team which is to visit New Plymouth Hawera, Wanganui. Marton, and Palmerston North, playing Wanganui on December 30 and 31. They will play for Auckland against Wellington and then travel to Wanganui on the Sunday for the match on Monday and Tuesday. *
