WANGANUI WINS
MATCH AGAINST RANGITIKEI In a cricket match played on Cook's Gardens yesterday Wanganui beat Rangitikei by. 164 runs on the first innings. The visitors won the toss but sent Wanganui in to bat and they compiled 288 for weight wickets and declared. Chief scorer.-, were W. H. Bickley 57, H. Whiting 53, Nimmo 47, and I. Manley, not out 37. J. Duncan took four wickets for 21, D. B. Slaciden one for 24, C. Beechey one for 26.
