CHARGES AT CHRISTCHURCH THREE MEN REMANDED f Fei Picas Aasocialion.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 15. Three charges of making seditious utterances, brought under the Public Safety Regulations, 1940, were preferred against three men m the Magistrate’s Court to-day. Harold Alexander Ostler ana Travis Burnell Chirstopher Christie, a junior, were Jointly charged with publishing a subversive statement in tne “People’s Voice,” contrary to regulation 2 (1) of the Public Safety Regulations, 1940. Two charges of making oral subversive statements were made against V/iiEam Edward John Aitken. At the request of the police an adjournment tor a week was granted.
