BEATING THE TIME-TABLE
A retriever, sent by train from the Midlands to Ramsgate, escaped at a London station, where it had to be transferred to another train. It ran down the line and arrived at London Bridge. There a railway reading the lafiel on its collar, put it into a fast train for Ramsgate. It. reached there some hours earlier than its own train.
