PRIZES DEFERRED
THE NOBEL FOUNDATION Received Oct. 12, 5.5 p.m. STOCKHOLM, Oct. 11. The board of the Nobel Foundation has asked the Government to postpone the 1940 Nobel Prizes in literature, physics, and chemistry until the 1941 prizes are conferred. The Peace Prize, “for obvious reasons,” is also not being conferred ‘.his year.
