Goldstone, Wanganui, by shutting the doors of their shops and business houses be tween 9 and 9.15 a.m. to-day when the cortege passes on its way to St. Mary’s Church, where Requeim Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Father C. J. Outtrim. There will be official representatives of Wanganui at the funeral, which will leave the church for the Aramoho cemetery after the Mass.

At a public meeting held last night to discuss the establishment of a day nursery in Wanganui, the Mayor, Hon. W. J. Rogers, M.L.C., referred to the death of Pilot-Officer Goldstone. The meeting stood in silence as a mark of respect and to express sympathy with the pstents.
