WIN WOOD—BRO WNLIE. A lovely frock of heavy cream brocaded satin, that had been the bride's grandmother's wedding gown, was worn by Charlotte Amy Grace, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Brownlie, of Brunswick, for her wedding at St. Oswald’s Church, Westmere, on Thursday afternoon, September 5. The bridegroom, Donald Batte Rogers, is the second soi of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. A gold ornament, formerly a locket worn by the bride’s great-grand-mother, clasped the bodice of the bride’s gow’n, which had bodice and long sleeves in close-fitting style. The skirt, with ruched cream satin panel in front, had a train of flowered satin falling from a bustle back, and edged with hand-made lace to tone. A topknot of spring flowers held in place her lone cream embroidered veil, and

Bowls and vases of spring flowers were arranged in the rooms and on the table. To receive the guests the bride’s mother wore a patterned navy moracain frock trimmed with blue, navy and cellophane straw hat, shoes to tone, and held a posy in violet shades. The bridegroom’s mother was wearing a navy ensemble with hat and accessories'to match, and carried a posy of pink and red flowers. The bride s going away ensemble was a smart navy Viennese suit with touches of gold to match the gold toned hat and gloves. She wore a brown fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom.
