CO-OPERATIVE SPIRIT

DIRECTORS OF A. D. WILLIS, LTD., ENTERTAIN THE STAFF. A very happy function was held at the premises of A. D. Willis, Ltd., Wanganui, yesterday. The employees had morning tea as the guests o£ the company. The directors took the opportunity to thank the employees for the loyal services rendered the company throughout the financial year, which had just closed, and pointed out what could be done when all worked together in a spirit of co-operation and a desire to succeed. The times were very difficult for manufacturing firms, and warehousemen, and were becoming increasingly so it was said. But if the pleasant associations between staff and directors were maintained there was no reason why the company should not continue in the way it was now going. By so doing, Wanganui benefited and the employees were maintained in a useful occupation.
