AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE PLANE MISSING

CREW OF SIX ABOARD BRISBANE, Aug. 13. A Royal Air Force plane with a crew of six is missing off the coast near Brisbane. It was due back at Archerfield air station at 5 p.m. yesterday after exercises at sea. it is hoped the missing machine made a forced landing .on some lonely beach. Other aircraft are searching. Brisbane planes searching for a missing Air Force bomber have reported a large patch of oil on the sea near Stradbroke Island.
