TECHNICAL COLLEGE CONCERT

OPERA HOUSE This year the public concert staged by Wanganui Technical College is entirely in aid of the National Patriotic Fund. The reputation gained by this school in its musical and dramatic performances is an extremely high one, and the public can again look forward with confidence to an evening of great interest. The programme includes a tableau of Empire in which will be illustrated songs of Kipling and Elgar; items by the military band; several classical numbers by the choir; drill by a squad of cadets, and will conclude with a oneact comedy entitled “Mr. Hackee's Prize.” Tickets are on sale from the pupils, and the box plans for reserves is at the College Office. The concert will take place in the Opera House on Wednesday. 7th. instant.
