Lieutenant H. E. M. Williams ha been posted to the Fourth Reinforce ments, Trentham Mobilisation Camp as medical officer.

The Rev. W. Carmichael Fortrose, Southland, has been appointed to the charge of Knox Presbyterian Church, Hamilton East, in succession to the Rev. H. J. Lilburn, who is now at St James', Auckland.

Dr. Murray A. Stewart, who has been doing post-graduate study in England for the last 12 months, has gained his diploma in medical radiology (D.M.R.E.). Dr. Stewart is a son of Mr. William Stewart, chemist, Invercargill. He is a former pupil of the Southland Boys' High School and also of the Timaru Boys' High School. After obtaining his degree in Otago University, Dr. Stewart was a house surgeon in the Masterton and Waikato hospitals.
