GONVILLE CLUB NEXT SEASON'S PROSPECTS ANNUAL MEETING HELD A satisfactoiy attendance of members was registered at the annua meeting of the Gonville Bowling Club, held in the club s pavilion on Monday nignt. The president, Mr. W. J Healey, was in the chair. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, Mt Healey congiululated members on th' very satisfactory position disclosed. He thanked officials and members generally for the loyal support accoidec him. Referring to the green and sui roundings he said the improvemen left notaing to be desired, and he fell confident twat memoers would have ar. excellent green 101 the coming season Several new memoers were electee with the prospect of others at th< opening date. The election of officers resulted: - President, Mi. W. J. Healey (re elected); vice-presioent, Mr. P. Mailman (re-elected); hon. secretary, Mr B. R. Banks (ro-elected); hon. urer, Mr. VV. J. Healey (re-eiected) hon.’ auditor, Mr. E. Christie (reelected); delegates to centre, Messrs A. Fisher and T. T. Beil; green super intendent, Mr. A. J. Fisher; genera committee, Messrs. P. Anderson, J Healey, P. Tinney, A. Fisher, H. Neas C. Piper. L. Chishoim, P. Durrani, H James; selection committee, Messrs P. Mailman, J. Healey, C. Piper. It was decided to run the club competitions on the same lines as lasi year, and to enter for the various centres’ competitions. On the motion of the president votes of thanks were accorded th< centre secretary, Mr. C. H. Clinkard Mr. E. Christie, hon. auditor, also ar those who assisted at the social gath erings, and to the Press.
