railway creche and the day nursery? Just imagine it! Mother comes to town, hands baby over to motherly nurse, who will change, feed and put in a cot to sleep and later a pen to crawl about in. Toddler would be fed and could play in the lovely playroom under supervision, while mother could do her shopping, visit her dentist, doctor or perhaps (wonderful thought) eyen go to a picture in peace, knowing that her oabies are being well looked after and not being dragged round from shop to shop. So please think about it, Wanganui mothers, and surely, for my sake and every other young mother, we could do something.—l am, etc., “MOTHER OF THREE.”
