INJURIES PROVE FATAL

KNOCKED DOWN BY TAXI [ Per Press Association. ] DUNEDIN, April 25. Knocked down by a taxi in Princes Stieet South on Wednesday night, Patrick Reid, aged 17, hawker, received injuries from which he died in hospital half an hour later. Reid was crossing from the corner of Police and Princes Streets to Carroll Street shortly after 10.30, when he was knocked down by a Kia Ora taxi, driven by Charles Joseph Wallace, travelling north along Princes Street
