Mr. O. Reid, who took an active interest in the affairs of the Parewanui school, is leaving for the Auckland district, where he has purchased a farm, and one or two of the old committee have signified their intention of relinquishing office, but it is hoped to Vll all vacancies before long.
On Saturday a Rugby match was played between past and present pupils of Bulls School, the former winning a well contested game by 6 to 3. Bulls juniors will travel to Rata, to meet Rata.
Mr. J. Bryers, who is attached to the teaching staff of Bulls school, turned out for Bulls seniors on Saturday, and played a solid game. He is not to be confused with R. Bryers (a brother), though both played for Training College, R. Bryers also representing King Country.
