ANZAC DAY

yiiE commemoration of Anzac Day this year will have a special

significance which for a long time it did not carry. It will mark once again the determination of the British people to uphold their own racial characteristics, their culture and their faith. These things are the gift of their forefathers, the heritage of this generation and the trust which is held by the present for those who are to come afterwards. The ceremonies of Anzac Day this year will be a rededieation to the high purpose of our race and a seeking of strength to bear the sacrifices which are called for from those who carry that high purpose in their lives.
