Castlecliff Interest. A committee to create a fund for financing farewells for Castlecliff men who have enlisted, and to make a reserve fund to give them when they return has been formed in Castlecliff. A meeting to form the committee wAs held in the Castlecliff Town Hall on Thursday, and a committee of 15 was formed with power to add. Mr. F. A. Beattie is chairman and Mr. J. Armstrong secretary. A finance committee was also formed, consisting of Messrs. Beattie, Armstrong, J. Deacon, and Mrs. B. Allen. It was decided to open a bank account and pay all monies out with cheques and also to hold a public dance shortly. So far Castlecliff has sent away 23 men.
