INSTRUCTIONS TO SHIPPING [ BRITISH WARNING BROADCAST j Received April 11. 7.5 p.m. LONDON. April 10. The British Government has broad- • cast a m’essage to the masters of Dan- I ish and Norwegian ships warning them | to ignore a message broadcast irom. I their respective countries telling them j to put into neutral ports. To the masters of Norwegian ships, j the British Government states that, n message broadcast from Oslo telling them to put into neutral ports must j be disregarded altogether as it was ■ broadcast by the Germans, who are in j occupation of Oslo. The message sug- i gests that they should proceed to the | nearest British or French port for advice. Similarly, masters of Danish ships are warned to disregard a message broadcast from Copenhagen advising them to proceed to Italian, Spanish or other neutral ports. This message was broadcast by the order <jf the Germans in Denmark.
