R.A.F. PILOT'S FLIGHT OVER AERODROME
OBSERVATIONS OF ENEMY AIRCRAFT RUGBY. April 10. At a height of 50 feet a Royal Air Force pilot made a reconnaissance flight over Stavanger aerodrome on Wednesday, and counted and classified all the German aircraft assembled there. Encountering no interference, the pilot made a second flight across the aerodrome to confirm his observations. British Aircraft are also busy along other parts of the Norwegian coast, . noting the numbers and descriptions Vof German ships, several being engag-
pd by enemy machines as they carried out their attack over towns, fiords, harbours, and sea routes of the invaded country. The Air Ministry announces that while on patrol early to-night off the north-east coast, a Hurricane plane of the R.A.F. fighter command shot down two enemy Heinkel bombers.
