UNION BOAT CLUB FRANK CROTTY MEMORIAL FOURS BLACKMORE WINS FINAL The final of the Frank Crotty Memorial Fours was rowed by the Union Boat Club last evening, and it resulted in a win for R. Blackmore, who defeated A. Tonks and C. Healey. Weather and water conditions were rather unfavourable, a cold southerly wind causing a jobble and proving disconcerting to the oarsmen. R. Blackmore, who rowed consistently well in the heats and semi-finais, went into an early lead and was never headed, despite the strenuous efforts made by the other competitors to make up the leeway. The winning margin was one and a-quarter lengths. The personnel of the competing crews in the final was:— R. Blackmore, H. Bowling, W. Copley, A. Wilson. A. Tonks, J. Pringle, C. Tasker, K. Terrey. C. Healey, M. Brown-Sharpe, W. Wakeling, R ( Russell. The following crews have been selected to compete for the Dustin Pairs:—A. Tonks and A. Wilson; M. Brown-Sharpe and W. Wakeling; Copley and E. Granville; Benge and Salt; Bowling and Callaghan; Blackmore and E. Crutchley; Ward and J. Pringle. Racing will commence to-morrow afternoon at 2.30 p.m.
