DUCHESS THEATRE

Merle Oberon, Laurence Oliver and Ralph Richardson (of “Clouds Over Europe" fame), head the list in “The Divorce of Lady X," screening to-night at the Duchess Theatre. “The Divorce of Lady X,” which is screened entirely in technicolour, tells the story of a beautiful girl who is forced by a heavy fog to stay overnight at a London hotel where she is attending a masquerade ball. Unable to get accom- [ modations, she impudently invades the (suite of a tired young lawyer, steals his bed, his pyjamas, his book and in-

cidentally his heart, and vanishes next morning, leaving no name but “Lady X.” Binnie Barnes and Morton Selton head the featured cast. There is an excellent first half, including a “March of Time” and “Mother Goose 3 Goes Hollywood.”
